After looking around at lots of places I spoke to Emma at Rugeley fireplaces. From the get go she was so polite and helpful. Emma and Darren are super knowledgeable and gave us lots of really great advice when choosing the right fire for what we wanted. We had a 1:1 meeting in store with Emma and we managed to find everything and no question felt too silly to ask. They advised us on fitters who were also super nice. Overall I would highly recommend anyone to them as we walked away really happy and got the fire we wanted. Thank you so much for all your help.

Fantastic service from Emma in the shop and from Jeff the fitter (and his Dad). Ours wasn’t an easy job. It’s a very old house and access to the chimney isn’t easy. We had been to three other places and the problems they outlined made us quite nervous. All changed with Emma and Jeff who found a solution to every complication - all at a reasonable price too! Had a great service from Emma who was very knowledgeable giving us sound advise as to the type of stove to go for. The whole experience was very friendly and helpful and ran like clockwork. Jeff and his Dad made a sterling job of fitting the multi-fuel stove inside the original cast iron surround. We chose 'Rugeley Fireplaces & Stoves' so we keep to local people and businesses. We both had an idea of what we wanted but after the survey it was not really possible. On the second visit Emma showed us which fires would fit and look good. Emma designed our fireplace around having our TV above it. We couldn't have our TV too high due to me having neck problems. After 2 1/2 days - rebuilding the chimney inside, we now have a stunning fire.

About two years ago we purchased an electric stove from the above and have been more than pleased with it and the service supplied then. At Christmas last year I lost my husband. John dealt wtih most things technical and the stove had a remote which I couldn't understand. The owner at Rugeley Fireplaes and Stoves spend a good half hour instructing me how to use this. She didn't have to and I am very grateful.

Emma in the shop was very helpful and friendly, not pushy. Arranged for fitter to come and do inspection and gave provisional fitting data. Fitter came on time as arranged. Spent quite a lot of time checking everything was okay. He came back on a pre-arranged date and spent several hours working, but unfathomably, the fire wasn't drawing. Will return when weather more favourable, but didn't want any money until he's got it working. Excellent.
